Nike recently pulled their USA themed sneaker featuring a Betsy Ross Flag after Colin Kaepernick intervened. Kaepernick said Nike shouldn't be selling a shoe with a symbol that many consider offensive. The heel of the shoe featured a US Flag with 13 stars in a circle. This design was created during the American Revolution and commonly referred to as the Betsy Ross Flag.

Must everything about our history now be considered offensive and/or racist?

All I can hope is that some sense of sanity will return to our country before we destroy this great nation from within.
